Biography

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Martone Capital Management, Inc., Bill is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the firm.

Born in 1949, Bill has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University in New York City, Chartered Life Underwriter (1978) and Chartered Financial Consultant (1983) designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Bill and his wife Diana live in Bronxville, New York. His two children Lauren and Michael live in New City, New York and Washington Township, New Jersey respectively.

Bill is a frequent lecturer and educator on the topics of pensions and retirement planning, and has served as an instructor in the Adult Education Division of the City University of New York. He was previously a Registered Representative with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. where he provided financial planning and investment management services.

Since 1973, Bill has studied various investment strategies while his practice has focused on helping clients avoid the common mistakes made by most investors. He has been quoted in various publications as well as being featured on CNNfn.
